The OnStar team launched its “Respect the Amazing” campaign last year. It consisted of web videos, radio, online media, print, social media and a website homepage redo. The work was designed to communicate a fresh look of OnStar and it’s technology. It highlighted services such as RemoteLink (OnStar’s app), Automatic Crash Response, Stolen Vehicle Assistance and Vehicle Diagnostics. You’ll also notice a closer connection to the Chevrolet brand than usual, identifying OnStar compatible vehicles including the Malibu, Impala and Silverado.
All the Connected by OnStar videos were produced by Angus Wall (known for his work with “The Social Network”, “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”) and voice-over Rich Sommer (“Mad Men”) played a hand in the campaign.
My particular role in this campaign was digital (website, online media and social). The new site combines OnStar stories, services and pre-retail into a base for new and existing customers.
