The One Pride campaign for the Detroit Lions was designed to reignite the passion Lions fans have for their football team and the city they represent. After years of less than stellar on-field results, this campaign sought to cement the notion that we’re all in this together. Through thick and thin, we all bleed blue and silver. Kicked off on the day the City of Detroit filed for the largest municipal bankruptcy in American history, the One Pride platform invited the team, its fans, and the community to come together as one.
My role in this campaign was design exploration, as well as conceptualizing ideas. One of the ideas that that the clients loved was my fan appreciation social network idea. Fans would submit their photo via social network and be part of a “One Pride” collage that would play out in-stadium during games and social media.
